Hi Everyone,
My name is Isabella Dowd. I am 16, live in Terranora and attend school at Lindisfarne Anglican Grammar.
I am raising funds for 'Fred's Place', a vital support centre for the homeless in our Tweed Shire.
Fred’s Place is funded by St Vincent de Paul Society and relies completely on charitable donations. Homelessness can affect anyone; age, sex, youth battling mental health, those struggling with addictions and others who simply ‘don’t fit in’. Visitors have access to basic needs facilities; showers, meals, medical care, Legal Aid and counselling.
To be part of the solution in tackling homelessness in our Tweed community I will be participating in a sleep-out on the 30th August at Seagulls Club to raise money.
